What are the Most Important Elements for Writing Content for the Internet?

By Carl Mortimer

First – Avoid Writer’s Block.
The ability to write is not inherent in everyone. If you are sitting at your computer and ready to write but your brain is empty, or your thoughts are so scattered you cannot concentrate, you are one of those individuals that could use assistance in writing. Writer’s block will be a curse that you will not be able to get over without help from the experts.

This writer’s block curse can be eliminated from your writing if you take advantage of the knowledge others have and are ready to provide to you. That is where the phrase been there done that comes into play.

There are many resources on the internet that will assist you in learning how to write articles, business letters, e-books, and many other type of writing. The trick is to learn how to write in such a way that your product will be the most profitable to you.

Second – Improve Your Informational Data Base.
When you are attempting to write for profit is it wise to improve your information data base. What does that mean? In order to improve your information data base and write for profit it is imperative that you avail yourself of the experience and knowledge of those individuals who have tried and failed, and then tried again and again, till they succeed.

This is not to say that everyone who tries over and over will succeed. The element of education must be included in each try until you finally get it right. You may be able to prepare an article that many people will enjoy reading; but, have you prepared your product in such a way to convince the reader to take an action that will provide you with income?

One of the biggest assets you can have for writing is to realize that no matter how good you are at writing the experience and knowledge of others can always be of a benefit to you. There are many aspects to writing and I do not believe it is possible for any one person to possess the knowledge required to produce and publish products that will allow you to earn money on the internet.

Third – Maximize Income By Improving Your Product.
Writing may come easy to you; however, writing to provide the reader the enjoyment of reading is not the same as writing for profit. You are working with 26 letters that can be combined into an unknown number of words. How you present these words to the reader will determine your success or failure at what you are attempting.

Here's a website that has several resources and links all dedicated to writing content and how to make money from it.You can try many different approaches and test your articles to see if you can discover the secrets involved in profitable writing. Taking this approach of trying it on your own could take a very long time and in the end prove fatal to your success. You can improve your success at writing for profit if you accept the experience of others as a necessary part of your product preparation.

There are many products available and depending on your needs, these products can be relatively inexpensive compared with what you can earn by improving your writing. The biggest asset you can have is to realize that no matter how well you write there is always room for improvement.

I have presented three elements of learning how to write for profit. Isn’t it about time you take advantage of the knowledge of others that have tried and succeeded to reach your goal of earning money on the internet?

Please take a moment to go to my profile, add me as a friend, and ask me any questions about writing web content. I also have a free web site dedicated to presenting you with links to various sites that provide products to improve your writing for profit and how to increase web traffic through viral marketing. If you are looking to market your business or product, then I highly recommend checking this marketing system out.

Thanks Carl for this article and insight.

A for those of you who have heard of Natalie Regoli the CEO of StartUpBiz.Com they had this comment to add:

Comment by SUp.biz, COO
This is what we know that works:

1) Keep it short and break it up into bite size chunks-Your blog is a perfect example-People on the internet have a short attention span

2) Do not write a blog about your product or service-Your product should be an example-Write about topics within your industry

3) Enagage the reader
-Asking a question or opinion will get your blog read
-The answers will add to your content and make your blog better

The 3 Laws Of Performance

Another wise article from Necole Brown.

1. CREATE A PLAN
In life in order to accomplish anything we must begin with a plan in mind. The same holds true when working on your business. Believe it or not, everything begins with a plan. If you do nothing in life, that too begins with the plan of you deciding that you're not going to do anything today, and that stretches into tomorrow, and so on. Before you know it, months and years have gone by and you haven't accomplished anything, all because you didn't have a plan in place.

If you want to be successful in life, you must begin with a plan.

2. WORK YOUR PLAN
Once you have a plan in mind, you should put it in writing, by making a list, because you won't be able to remember it all. You may call this your list of goals, because they are things that you'd like to accomplish. In an effort to keep track of your goals and make sure that you accomplish them in a timely manner, you may want to put them on your calendar.

Outlook Calendar works perfect if you have access to it. If not, use whatever online calendar management system that you're comfortable with. It's always good to plot your goals on your calendar from start to finish. With an end date in mind, your goals will always be in front of you, and you'll be able to stay on track to make sure that they get done. If you meet your deadline before schedule, you may remove the goal from your calendar and move on to complete your next goal.

3. REVIEW YOUR PLAN
Just because you believe that you're starting off with a great plan, things may not turn out as you expected. When you see this happening, simply stop and take a look at what you're currently doing, and begin to revamp your plan. You may have to go through a couple of different processes until you find the one that works for you. Don't stop recreating until you have everything the way that you envisioned.

In order to stay on track with your goals, you may want to take baby steps starting off. Take big jobs and break them into smaller ones. Even as things begin to come together, you should continue to revamp your process until it's as close to perfection as you can get.

Wisdom is the key to getting what you want out of life, and duplication is the key to a successful partnership.

Achieving Success in Today's Business Climate

This article by Bert Martinez is so true that I thought I would sgare it with you all.

Achieving Success in Today's Business Climate
by Bert Martinez

How successful do you really want to be? Is that too vague?

How about - How much money do you want to earn?

Well business people are always consistent with their internal feelings about:

Themselves, who they are;

Their feelings about money, what's possible for them to earn, keep and spend;

What they deserve to achieve.

One of our greatest emotional needs is for security. To know that future events aren't going to create big waves of change. One of the ways we fulfill this need is to have standards, set goals, make decisions, and tackle problems that we're comfortable managing. Probably 95% of people do this without even knowing why.

Dr. Prescott Lecky, a Canadian educator, branded what he called the Theory of Self-Consistency. He developed his program to help teachers enable students to learn more effectively. He theorized that our minds are organized systems of ideas, and all the ideas that belong to the system must seem to be consistent with each other.

Dr. Lecky states, "The center or nucleus of the mind is in the individual's conception of himself. If a new idea seems to be consistent with the ideas already present in the system, and particularly with the individual's conception of himself, it is accepted and assimilated easily. If it seems to be inconsistent, however, it meets resistance and is likely to be rejected.

"This means that when the choices, decisions, or commitments you make with yourself are in conflict with the beliefs, values, and self-image in your unconscious. Conflicts occur that inhibits your progress toward your goals.

The model of Self Consistency leads us to realize:

When the choices, decisions, or commitments you make in yourself are consistent with the beliefs, values, and self-image in your unconscious. Congruency occurs which accelerates your progress toward your goals.

Long story short, how we feel is more important than what we know. Change how you feel about yourself and you change your money, health and your entire life. The economy has little to do with what you'll achieve this year, you're emotions are in control. Now who's in control of your emotions?

New Twitter Followers On Autopilot

I just found this website that Bonnie Waters shared with me on Twitter.

I signed up for free last night at 9:30PM and already it's working to bring me followers on Twitter.

It is put together by Gary McCaffrey. Creator of tweetergetter.com Paul Birdsall, Rex Harris and alot of big hitters online are using it.

It's only been 12 hours and the tweets are rolling in.

I'll give you a full report in 30 days of how well it works and if it lives up to it's promises but it costs nothing, and hasn't sent me one single SPAM or email at all.

In fact, the website didn't ask for my email even.

14 hours later.....

I have 14 followers so far!

And You DON'T Have To Start Following Thousands Of People To Get Them!

Just a quick Tweet can make it happen.

So how does this system work?

Ushering In The Age Of Interactive Marketing!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve had it up to my eyelids with people trying to pitch me on their business opportunities. Lately, it seems as though the intensity and frequency of solicitations have reached a stage of irritation for most.

It’s getting to the point that people are acting desperate (I’m not unsympathetic to the economic situation affecting many, I know some are desperate) and that desperation is causing them to treat people like a commodity. It’s causing them to put self above the needs of others when meeting the needs of others is one of the fastest ways to overcome desperate circumstances.

The irony is that the people who are finding success as a home business owner, using the Internet, are tired of the onslaught of ads… they are tired of being pitched! Engaging in conversation online only to have it go from “Hey, how are you doing…” to “I want to tell you about some so exciting…” is enough to make anyone want to hang up the phone, block people on Skype and remove “friends” from social networks. Nonetheless, there is a new wave of marketers coming.

Even the television news media is talking about Network Marketing (see here) and how people are turning back to MLM during the soft economy. This, of course, is going to bring a new wave of would be marketers, to the Internet, looking for a way to market their business to a larger audience than they can reach in their local communities.

Those of us who have been around the industry for a while understand that this wave of upstart entrepreneurs is going to bring with it tremendous opportunity. From experience, we know that those who are looking to the Internet to replace or supplement income (recently reduced or lost) are going need and be seeking information that will show them “the way.”

What does this mean for the new home business owner who is turning to the Internet as their market place? Hopefully it doesn’t mean heartache and frustration as it has in times passed. It’s actually gotten to the point, with me, where I’m not sure I want my name even associated with phrases like “Internet marketing” and “home based business” if the “norm” is going to be this continuous assault of unsolicited advertising and spam.

While I know that this industry is always going to have its “quirks”, I do believe that, with a concentrated effort, we can bring about a new way of thinking and doing to the world of Web 2.0 that defines it in its purest form… “Interactive marketing.”

Think about it. Twitter, Facebook, Ning (wow, how about the changes today, awesome), Plurk, Ping.FM, FriendFeed, and all of the resources that continue to bring us all together… those who are having success with these resources know that “relationships” are key. Social networking isn’t about quantity, it’s about quality. You can continue to chase numbers or you can come into direct content with the one key element that we all need to be successful… people. It’s the “interaction” we have with people, using these resources, that bring about results.

I’ve been telling my group for months now that when it comes to doing business in the world of Web 2.0, that if you do things correctly, business just happens… and it does! It doesn’t need to be forced, it doesn’t need to be pushy, rude or desperate. By simply using the right tools and resources you can set up a system of management that will allow you the opportunity to be part of the solution and not the problem.

I’m here to help however I can… look me up on Twitter: @rexharrislive.

Cheers!

Choosing Motivation Over Defeat

Each of us encounters hard times, hurt feelings, heartache, and physical and emotional pain. The key is to realize it's not what happens to you that matters—it's how you choose to respond. You can choose an inner dialogue of self-encouragement and motivation, or you can choose one of self-pity and defeat.

Your inner dialogue will be reflected in how you act.Keith Harrell, corporate trainer and the author of Attitude is Everything, says there are several steps you can take to improve your attitude.

Here are six to get you started:

Repeat affirmations.
Words charged with power and conviction, repeated several times a day, can reprogram your subconscious and trigger positive feelings that drive actions.

Discover what motivates you to take action to change your life.
Basic motives include love, self-preservation, anger, financial gain and fear. Self-motivation requires enthusiasm, a positive outlook and a positive physiology—walk faster, sit up and smile. Believe in yourself and your potential.

Visualize positive outcomes to enhance and focus your skills. Peak performers, from surgeons to athletes, use visualization. Now, it's your turn.

Be enthusiastic.
Enthusiasm is one of the most attractive qualities you can have. It's your burning desire that communicates commitment, determination and spirit. Enthusiasm puts you in motion.

Laugh.
The more laughter in your life, the less stress you will have. There are also health benefits to lightening up.

Exercise.
One of the best ways to gain a more positive mindset is to exercise. It's no secret that life seems to reward us most when we approach it with a positive attitude.

What are Social Networking Sites?

What are Social Networking Sites?

If you are not familiar with them, then here is a brief explanation of what they are.

Social Network Sites: A Definition
Social Network Sites are innovative systems for meeting and working with people
who are involved in the same areas of business that you are involved in. This gives
you a very targeted audience to market your business to..

The Social Networking Sites that you will be using provide a safe, friendly
environment for Marketers, to come together in a Social setting to build
relationships, gain exposure, make friends, reach a targeted audience with your
businesses and products.

Popular social networking sites, including MySpace and Facebook, have changed the
human fabric of the Internet and have the potential to pay off big for investors.

MySpace, with 200 million visitors, has become the digital equivalent of hanging out
at the mall for today's teens, who load the site with photos, news about music
groups and detailed profiles of their likes and dislikes. It also became the next big
thing for marketers.

MySpace and Facebook, have opened the doors on newer and better Social
Networking sites that are business friendly.

The following Social Networking sites are geared for those who want to build their
business and they all offer great resources that will help you to contact and network
with 1,000's of other business minded people from all over the world.

Visit these Social Networking site and see what they can offer you in expanding your
business.

1. StartUpBiz - (Free to Join)
2. Social Networking Directory - (Free to Join)
3. Twitter - (Free to Join)
4. - (Free to Join)
They are all free to join and to use their services to grow your business.

TIP: To make the Social Networking sites to work for your business, go to your
account, set up your profile page where you can tell a little about you and your
business. This is where you can tell all about your business or affiliate program.
Then you go into the browse or search section and add other members to your
contact list. This will enable you to contact 1000's of members using the social
networks system. The members you contact will visit your profile page with your info
and business presentation.

Also, after these members become your contact you can email them at any time and
leave comments on their profile page that will lead back to your profile page. Try not
to place ads directly in the comments section, this is frowned upon. Instead wish
them good luck in thier business or have a nice day and then ask them to visit your
profile.

Visit my profile page here to see how I set up one of my profiles and scroll down to
the bottom to see how the comment section works.

People when looking at other members profiles almost always go to the comment
sections to see what other members are saying. This is a great way to get extra
exposure and visits to your profile and business opportunities.

This is the best in online marketing, and one that should not be ignored by anyone
who wants to earn an income online.

How To Find 100,000 Products You Can Sell Online
If you've ever dreamed about being a super affiliate and wondered how people make
any money promoting products that pay them measly commissions, this is the
chapter for you

The real secret to affiliate commissions is promoting high end products. In this
chapter I'm going to show you where to find these products and how to promote
them.

Google has recently launched a new service called Froogle which you can find at
http://www.froogle.com/.

This service allows you to find all sorts of products people are selling. I guess you
would call it the worlds largest online shopping directory.

This is how the Google people describe their new service
"Froogle is a new service from Google that makes it easy to find information about
products for sale online.

By focusing entirely on product search, Froogle applies the power of Google's search
technology to a very specific task: locating stores that sell the item you want to find
and pointing you directly to the place where you can make a purchase."

Basically it allows you to find any product for sale on the Internet.

So what's so good about this?

If you know anything about affiliate programs you know it's HARD to find good
products to sell that nobody else is selling and Froogle.com will allow you to do that.
The best part is it allows you to search for products by price range.

So if you wanted to find and promote products that sell for over $100,000 you can do
that!

Ok, let's move onto the next step. Selling $100,000 + products on the Internet. How
do you do it? Do people actually buy products that sell for this price online?
Yes they do, big time.

The type of products in this price range could be jewelry, car's, holidays, real estate
and even boats.

The best way to sell these types of products would be to become the leader in the
field on the Internet. So when someone thinks about buying a luxury car or holiday,
your name will come up.

But how do you do that?
By becoming the expert in the field! You want to be first in the search engines, you
want to be in their face when they read articles about the subject at hand, you want
to be first when they go to message boards and ask questions. You want your name
and website to be there.

Selling large products like this isn't going to be like selling $25 ebooks online, you're
going to have to put in the hard work.

You should be aiming to create a site something like http://www.tractorbynet.com/
That site is totally dedicated to Tractors and it pulls in a fortune. Why? Because when
someone says I want to buy a tractor online or want more information about a
certain type of tractor, that's the place that comes up every time they ask those
questions.

Information Product Idea
One of the hottest topics on the Internet right now is that of people learning how to
create digital products, like ebooks and software that they can sell online and make
either a full time or part time income with.

People are looking for ways to make money online, either because they have or fear
they might lost their jobs, or they are sick of working 9-5 and constantly hear about
people who are able to work from home.

This business idea is all about teaching people how to create digital products, easily
and quickly. Like most people who get into this sort of business, I would be staying
away from the "Internet marketing" crowd big time and I would try and target people
who are new to the Internet and the business in general.

Not only does this make you stand out in the crowd, it will also make things easier
when it comes to creating the business itself.

You're probably thinking how can I create a business about creating digital products
if I've never done anything like that before, and that is a good question, but I have a
very good answer.

Some of the best products I've ever brought on the Internet were not created by the
owner of the business, they either got someone to create the product for them or
they brought in experts and interviewed them and turned their knowledge into a
product.

The best way to get started in this business is to hire an expert in the field of product
development and use their knowledge to create your own products.

For instance, for $19.95, you could sell an ebook on getting started in product
development, for $47 you could see a download video showing steps on how to
create your own digital products, for $97 you could sell a cd set with a
comprehensive guide to creating and selling your own digital products, for $297 you
could sell a complete set of dvd's with 1 or 2 hours of consultation on product
development and for over $500 you could even do a seminar.

This is another simple business idea. Create an ebook around the topic of
making money with your love of Golf for example or manuthing you are passionate about.

Show people how to make money with their passion for Golf and they will pay you
whatever you want.

You could show them how to become a Caddy,

You could show them how to become a Golf sports writer

You could show them how to get a job at a Golf course

You could show them how to become a professional Golfer.

The list goes on and on.

Selling Businesses On Ebay Guide
There are literally tens of millions of people with an EBay account that shop
periodically for everything from clothing to information. So why not create a business
around EBay!

You already have millions of customers at your disposal, so why not make EBay work
even harder for you?

The problem with selling physical products on EBay is that it's a hard business to sell
onto someone else. Inventory, shipping is a pain in the butt, so create a business
that is virtual and a product that can be downloaded instantly.

Of course, I'm talking about an ebook here, but you can create just about anything.
Most people don't associate EBay with digital products, but people are willing to buy
them if you know where to look.

In Conclusion
Before you get on with starting your internet business, I just want to say that there
are thousands of ways to make money on the internet! This guide only covers the
most basic and easy ways to start an online business, and once you get more into
the online business world you will discover hundreds of other awesome business
opportunities.

And now, it is time for you to start your online business. Because the sooner you
start, the sooner you can quit that job and start living the life you have always
wanted.

Let me be blunt with you:
Is it possible to make lots of money on the internet? Yes, much more possible than
making it in the “real” world.

But unless you get started, you will not make a cent! So the sooner you get started, the better!

Once And For All, Let's Define Relationship Building in Network Marketing

Melanie Kissell challenges us on the whole concept of "make friends and build relationships with all the folks you prospect, talk to".Apparently, she's so sick and tired of hearing that she'll implode AND explode... at the same time!
___________________________________________________________________________
If I hear another person touting that network marketing is all about relationship building, I'm going to implode and explode ... simultaneously!

Are you in network marketing to make money? Or make friends?

Answer this question honestly. Why would someone try to get thousands of followers on Twitter or cram a gazillion friends on their Facebook roster? Does anyone need more than 2 seconds to think about it??

Most people I pose this question to give me the same old cookie cutter response - "I'm making friends and building relationships." No, you're not. You're building a LIST. And everyone on your list can look forward to receiving ads (in one form or another) for your products, services, or business opportunity.

Is there anything wrong with that? Of course, not. Anyone who produces a weekly ezine, for example, absolutely needs to have a LIST of subscribers to mail the darn thing to!

Seriously, folks, is it humanly possible to "build relationships" with thousands of people? The last time I checked, I had only two hands, two feet, one voice, and 24 hours in a day on my clock - and that's not nearly enough time to maintain relationships with my own children!

Some marketers are being led down a dead end road by being told that they need to work really hard on building relationships with their prospects. Oh, brother. There's only one thing and one thing only you need to do with prospects - Find out if your business opportunity and/or products are right for them. That's it. Nothing more.

Does that mean you should be rude? No. Insensitive? No. Disrespectful? No.

You should be polite, professional, and conversational, but crystal clear on your objective. This can be accomplished quickly and effectively by asking a few simple questions. A relationship with a prospect does not need to linger on for weeks or months. That would be time consuming, labor intensive, and downright ridiculous.

So let's define relationship building in network marketing.

The people that you need to build vibrant, healthy, lasting relationships with are the people that join you in your business or become your customers. That's when the relationship building begins. These are the folks that deserve your time, energy, and effort in getting to know, like, and trust you.

You have a vested interest in them and a responsibility to build a relationship with them. Hopefully, one that will transform into a friendship and last a lifetime.

To Your Network Marketing success,
Melanie Kissell

Thanks Melanie for this insightful article.

Now Chris Nwakobi has this comment add. What do you believe most?

__________________________________________________________________________

Relationship Building Sounds Less Threatening than List Building

If any of us called some prospects and said; "Oh, I want to add you to my list", the phone will must likely be slammed on us. If, on the other hand, we offer something to establish some trust, credibility may be established - building relationship.

List building is temporary, will almost look like coupons to stores that last a definite time period. Conveying the message of trust in relationship building with business associates, friends, relatives or social networking groups is at the very center of relationship building and successful network marketing.

Successful doctors go into medicine, to heal and the money comes and not for the money. teahers go into that profession to educate and not for the money.

So, if we go into network marketing, but make friends first; don't you believe we will be more successful?

I agree that we are all in this for the money, using the list mentality, will be like hunting. When animals are hunted, they run away. While, if we use the relationship mentality, it will be like fishing. When you put the right bate, the fishes will bite.

Chris Nwakobi

Both are great points of view... Tell us what you believe by posting a comment below...
